Tanzanite – “Blue Magma From Earth’s Fervor”

When it initially came out it was seen as an alternative stone for sapphire but in today’s time it has a reputation of its own. Its unique shades and trichroic effects distinguish it from sapphire. Apart from this it also has better clarity and brilliance than sapphire. Even after being newly discovered it is already recognized as a birthstone for December.
